The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is expected to announce the decision to apply a two-year price reduction to Viagra, Cialis and Levitra. The decision means the pharmaceutical industry will now be able to compete head-on in a world where competition has been fierce and consumers are not yet satisfied with the quality and safety of these drugs.
The commission says the two-year price reduction applies to both erectile dysfunction drugs and to all other impotence drugs and has no impact on the prices of other erectile dysfunction drugs, such as Levitra or Viagra. The two-year price reduction means Viagra, Cialis and Levitra will still be available in Australia for sale for a limited time and for a maximum of four years.
As per the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), there is no benefit to consumers in the future for consumers who are considering to buy drugs for their erectile dysfunction in Australia, including prescription drugs, herbal and complementary drugs and over-the-counter drugs.

We are also very pleased that the Government of New Zealand and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) have agreed to pay a significant penalty fee for a penalty to any person who had taken two years of pharmaceutical, medical and recreational drug pricing for any erectile dysfunction drug that was approved for sale under the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC)” the ACCC said in a statement.
